Spelet bygger vidare på de tidigare delarna i Pirots-serien men tar konceptet till nya höjder – bokstavligen. Här är det inte längre frågan om att samla skatter i vilda västern eller djungeln, utan att navigera genom galaxen och ta tillbaka stöldgods från en kosmisk tjuv. Alien Invasion: Samma mekanik som tidigare duellfunktionen och aktiveras när fåglarna inte kan samla in fler symboler. I Pirots 4 är det rymdbanditen som samlar in symboler kolumn för kolumn samtidigt som den duellerar med fåglarna. Om rymdbanditen vinner sin duell ökar multiplikatorn, fågeln tas bort och insamlingen fortsätter – tills banditen torskar.
